since 2006, personal alchemy has been committed to delivering effective and earth-friendly products used to promote tranquil balance of the mind, body, and spirit. personal alchemy is based in concord, ca., and is owned and operated by tiffany mccauley.

about tiffany

always a spa enthusiast, i have been a massage therapist for over 15 years. yet it has always been my dream to run my own company. in 2006 i purchased this business from a spa owner i was working for at the time. she had hired me on the side to make and bottle the products for her spa. in the end, she offered to sell me the business, and i jumped at the chance. knowing what these products can do, and having worked with them on a daily basis, made me certain this business would be successful. i love every part of running my business. the ups and downs of the business roller coaster ride keep me interested and in love with my job. i take immense pride in knowing that each bottle a person buys is made by my hands.

born and raised in the bay area, i live as the third generation, in the same house i grew up in. i was married to my wonderful husband, Michael, in 2005, and we just had a baby in september of 2007, i look forward to raising my son in the same home i have made so many memories in.

personal alchemy bath and body products are based on ayurvedic concepts. they are all-natural, using organic ingredients when possible and packaged in 100% recyclable and reusable containers. body creams, balms, oils and bath salts, are available in four scents; lull-a-bye, remember, awaken, and mystica. each scent targets one particular dosha, with one scent representing a bit of all three. individuals are innately drawn to one aroma, ultimately revealing which balance of energy their body is craving.

a simple scent quiz can also be used to determine the appropriate scent needed to balance one's energy, based on lifestyle.

the 5,000 year-old system, with its roots planted firmly in India, has created personal alchemy's sole intentions and has paved the path for its success. according to ayurveda, to create perfect health and vitality, the three doshas, or energies, of the body must be brought into balance . it is understood that a person is naturally drawn to the scent that reveals which balance of energy their body is craving in order to reach optimal health.
