environmentally
friendly
business
practices
at
personal alchemy, we're doing our part to be green and
preserve our environment.
here's
how we conduct our business in an environmentally friendly
way:
- all
light bulbs in our offices are energy efficient
- we
mix all our products by hand, therefore using far
less electricity. (and creating jobs in the process!)
- for
our local salons and spas, we pick up empty containers
for proper recycling
- we
use recycled paper products
- we
use only recyclable plastic and glass containers to
bottle our products. this includes most of the larger
containers we deliver to salons and spas as well.
- we
now ship all products in environmentally safe packing
material. popcorn! the real stuff, not the
foam stuff. simply throw it on your compost heap,
and recycle or reuse the box! (please do not eat it,
as we cannot guarentee the sanitary nature of this
popcorn for consumption.)
future
green business practices:
- we
are currently searching for a more green and environmentally
friendly packing material to ship our products with/in.
- glass
containers will be completely eliminated. We will
be changing all our bottles to recyclable plastic.
this allows for less weight in shipping, and therefore
requires less fuel.
