Enlighten Up

I don’t know about you, but I am a total news geek. I listen to NPR on my public radio station in the car every chance I get, especially if I am alone and can really listen to what is being said. With two small children, that is a rare situation for me. With all of that being said, the point of this post is to tell you about a new movie coming out and it is about yoga. The movie is entitled “Enlighten Up.”

While driving to a business class, I heard an interview with Kate, the filmmaker, and Nick, the subject of the movie. I was intrigued by what I heard, and I definitely have plans to see this movie at some point  this year. Nick, apparently, was a skeptic and had only tried doing yoga a time or two. Kate wanted to prove that yoga is so much more than what the average American skeptic believes. They travel around the world to find out more about yoga and the reasoning behind it.
